One of the main strategic aims of the ELTODO group is turnkey deliveries of comprehensive technology for construction or rebuilding of motorway, road, and city tunnels.

Tunnel security systems
Tunnel is a part of road, to which specific means of traffic control apply. Traffic control is not only dependent on traffic density, but has to respect also the safety and air-conditioning state of the tunnel. The tunnel represents a system of connected technological equipment, which serves for traffic and tunnel equipment control.
From the traffic control point of view, it is an autonomous system where the traffic can be controlled only in a limited way; by change of the speed limit or redirecting of the transport from one line to another. Variable signs, controlled automatically or manually by a traffic operator from the control centre are used for this purpose
